(TILLMAN’S CORNER, Ala.) — It hasn’t been the greatest offseason for Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley. After already getting arrested last month for marijuana possession, on Sunday morning, Failrley was arrested for driving under the influence and attempting to elude police.
According to Alabama state troopers, Fairley passed a state trooper at 100 miles per hour in unincorporated Mobile County. Fairley initially refused to stop for the trooper when he attempted to pull him over. After eventually pulling over, he was arrested without incident.
He was also cited for reckless driving, no proof of insurance, and open container.
Fairley was the Lions’ first round pick in the 2011 draft. After dealing with injuries, he appeared in 10 games for the team last season and registered 15 tackles and one sack
