Logistics Give Dems a Majority on Tax Panel

The retirement of Republican chairman Bob Geddes leaves Democratic Commissioner David Langhorst as interim chairman. The Otter administration says the governor will take his time to find the right person to replace Geddes and restore the bipartisan balance to the commission. The group is constitutionally required to have four members, with no more than two from each party.
