Magnitude 6.0 Quake Shakes Northern Italy, Killing At Least 4
Published at(SANT’AGOSTINO DI FERRARA, Italy) — A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook northern Italy near Bologna early Sunday, killing at least 4 people.
The quake damaged roofs of old buildings and caused several churches to collapse.
Another strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was reported at 3:15 p.m. local time in the same area struck earlier Sunday. More buildings reportedly collapsed in and around Finale Emilia.
