Man Who Shot At Police in McCammon Has Died From His Injuries

(BANNOCK COUNTY, ID)  –  On April 14, David Allen Buzzell was involved in a shootout with Bannock County Sheriff’s Deputies and SWAT officers after officers responded to a home in the 900-block of 3rd Street in McCammon.  Deputies reported that Buzzell had a weapon when they arrived and after several hours of negotiation, he came out of the home and began to shoot at officers.  The 51-year old man was struck by return fire and then taken to Portneuf Medical Center.  He died from those injuries Thursday morning.   Bannock County Sheriff’s officials have a news conference planned for Thursday afternoon.
