Neighbors Save House From Fire

(CHUBBUCK) – Quick thinking neighbors helped save a burning home in Chubbuck Wednesday. Authorities say the fire started at a home on the corner of Galena Avenue and Salmon Street. Local News 8 reports that 20-year-old Cody Moss used the home’s garden hose to contain the blaze before fire crews arrived. Other neighbors also stepped in to rescue the burning home’s pets. Moss says he doesn’t feel like a hero and just wanted to help a friend. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
