Orlando Hudson Agrees To Deal With Chicago White Sox
(CHICAGO) -- Free agent infielder Orlando Hudson agreed to a contract with the Chicago White Sox Tuesday. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The 34-year-old Hudson began the year with the San Diego Padres, with whom he batted .211 with one home run and 11 RBIs in 33 games. San Diego released him last Thursday.
In addition to signing Hudson, the White Sox placed third baseman Brent Morel on the 15-day disabled list because of a strain in his lower back.
