Passing Motorists Pull Driver From Crash

(McCAMMON) – A Pocatello man survived a potentially deadly crash Wednesday, all thanks to the help of some Good Samaritans. 48-year-old Scott Mann was driving west on U.S. Highway 30 near McCammon when he struck a guardrail on an overpass. Mann then overcorrected and swerved into a concrete barrier, setting the car on fire. Four passersby were able to pull Mann from the vehicle before it became fully-engulfed in flames. Mann was taken to Portneuf Medical Center for minor injuries. The crash is still under investigation.
