Police Honor Fallen Heroes
(POCATELLO) – Tuesday was national Law Enforcement Memorial Day, and officers in eastern Idaho honored those who put their lives on the line every day. Local News 8 reports that flags were lowered to half staff at the Bannock County Sheriff’s office with honor guard services. Sheriff Lorin Neilson says law enforcement officers are often overlooked by the public until they’re needed. He says it’s humbling to work in a career with people so dedicated to serving the community.
