Police Search for Mountain Lion Roaming Boise

(BOISE) – Law enforcement officials in Boise are looking for a mountain lion that’s been spotted at several locations around town. Idaho Fish and Game authorities say the cat is a 70-pound male, and was last seen near the Boise State University campus. The sighting prompted school officials to send out an emergency e-mail urging students to use caution when walking to and from class. Officials say it’s rare for cougars to stick around urban areas for very long, and may wander back the way he came.
