Political Scam Targets East Idaho

  (IDAHO FALLS) – Law enforcement agencies in the Blackfoot area are warning residents about a political scam. They say the caller is claiming to be from the Romney campaign and is asking for donations with a credit card number. The caller reportedly won’t take no for an answer. The Romney campaign has denounced the scammer and reiterated that they don’t take credit card numbers over the phone. Authorities urge residents to report any suspicious activity immediately.
