Predators Blank Coyotes 2-0, Still Trail Series 2-1

John Russell/NHLI via Getty Images(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- The Nashville Predators scored twice in the first period and then road goalie Pekka Rinne until the end, as they blanked the Phoenix Coyotes 2-0. The Coyotes now lead the series 2-1.

Rinne, a Vezina Trophy finalist, which is given to the leagues top goalie, had 32 saves in the shutout.

"You put a lot of pressure on yourself and it feels good to win this one and play a solid game," Rinne said. "It makes the series totally different now."

Nashville centers David Legwand and Mike Fisher scored the two goals for the Predators.

The puck drops for Game 4 at 7:30 PM ET in Nashville on Friday.
