Rangers Place Feliz On 15-Day D-L With Elbow Inflammation

Texas Rangers/MLB(SEATTLE) — The Texas Rangers placed starting pitcher Neftali Feliz on the 15-day disabled list Monday because of inflammation in his right elbow.
Feliz is in his first season as a starter. He’s 3-1 with a 3.16 ERA. He has struck out 37 batters in 42 2-3 innings of work.
The Rangers recalled reliever Yoshinori Tateyama from Triple-A Round Rock to take Feliz’s spot on the roster. Tateyama is 1-0 with a 0.54 ERA and a save in 12 appearances this year.
