Reports: Demi Lovato Joins “The X Factor”

ABC/Heidi Gutman(NEW YORK) — It appears The X Factor has locked in Demi Lovato to join Britney Spears as the two newcomers to the judges’ table.
TMZ.com and E! Online are both reporting that Lovato has officially agreed to serve as a judge on the Fox singing competition, which returns in the fall.
Lovato and Spears reportedly will appear Monday at Fox’s upfront presentation of its 2012-2013 schedule in New York City to make both of their signings official.
Lovato and Spears will join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid on The X Factor.
