Representative Mike Simpson Pledges to Protect Idaho’s Wilderness

(KETCHUM, ID)  –   U.S. Rep. Mike Simpson is determined to continue fighting for wilderness status for over 330,000 acres of back-country in Central Idaho.   Simpson has been working on the Boulder/White Cloud wilderness proposal for ten years.  Simpson says he’s struggled to get the bill through Congress, in large part because it lacks backing from his fellow Gem State congressman and Gov. Butch Otter.
