Rexburg Bike Rally Marred By Fight

(REXBURG) – A motorcycle rally honoring a child with cancer over the weekend was not without controversy. Rexburg police say more than 400 bikers were in Rexburg Saturday to pay tribute to 7-year-old Wesley Johnson. However, five members of the Idaho Falls-based ‘Brothers Speed’ gang attacked two members of Pocatello’s ‘Empties’ motorcycle club. 57-year-old man was hospitalized, and a 9 mm handgun was fired during the confrontation. Assault and battery charges are pending.
