Ruffles’ New Potato Chip Targets the Manly Man

Stockbyte/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Remember the days when men were men and men’s food was men’s food?
Even if you don’t, the folks who make Ruffles potato chips are debuting a variety of products that target the hearty male appetite, although women will probably enjoy them too.
These “Ultimate Chips & Dips” include flavors such as Sweet & Smokin’ BBQ and Kickin’ Jalapeno Ranch, featuring ridges in the chips that are twice as large and deep as the famed original Ruffles ridges. Supposedly, this is what has been missing from the life of the average male.
Of course, what are chips without dip? Ruffles is also introducing Beef N’ Cheese with real cheese, and Smokehouse Bacon that has pieces of bacon mixed in with the dip.
If that isn’t enough to raise your testosterone level, Ruffles will officially launch its new flavors for men at Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 party in New York City next week, featuring the editors’ and readers’ picks for the most beautiful women in the world.
