MLB: NL: The Philadelphia Phillies (13-13) shut down the Atlanta Braves (15-11), 4-0.

The Cincinnati Reds (12-12) downed the Chicago Cubs (9-16) in 10 innings, 4-3.

The Pittsburgh Pirates (11-14) doubled up the St. Louis Cardinals (16-9), 6-3.

The Miami Marlins (11-14) edged the San Francisco Giants (12-13), 3-2.

The Washington Nationals (16-9) held off the Arizona Diamondbacks (13-13), 2-1.

AL: The Tampa Bay Rays (18-8) topped the Seattle Mariners (11-16), 4-3.
