Stand Off Suspect’s Ex-Wife Speaks Out

(BLACKFOOT) – The ex-wife of the man who led police on a high speed chase through Fort Hall Wednesday is speaking out. Brittany Andrus says her ex-husband, 30-year-old Jeremy Andrus, showed up out of the blue with a gun at her parents’ house Wednesday night. She tells KIDK that Jeremy pointed a gun at her stepfather’s head before fleeing in his car. Brittany, who has been divorced from her former husband since late last year, says Jeremy subjected her and her children to emotional abuse. Aggravated assault and eluding charges are pending.
