(RIGBY) – A Rigby High School student and her father are coming forward to talk about Friday’s bomb scare. They tell KIDK that a group of at least four students was left behind in the greenhouse while the rest of the school was evacuated by bus to Rigby Junior High. When the students attempted to leave, a nearby police officer told them to stay inside the greenhouse. About an hour later, after numerous phone calls, school officials arrived to pick up the remaining students. Though the bomb threat turned out to be a false alarm, they say the school’s teachers need to do a better job accounting for students in emergencies.
