Suggs Has Successful Surgery on Achilles
Published at(BALTIMORE) — Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs had successful surgery on a partial tear of his Achilles tendon Tuesday.
Suggs said Wednesday that Dr. Robert Anderson, who performed the operation in Charlotte, N.C., repaired a partial tear of his Achilles.
Suggs told the Baltimore Sun on Wednesday that “everything went good” with the surgery.
“There is only a small incision, and he said it was not as bad as some thought it was, which I had already been told,” Suggs told the paper. “I’m 29-years-old…I don’t miss games. I’ll be returning soon.”
The average return to playing in the NFL after such a surgery is 11 months.
