U. of Idaho Football Player Shot to Death
(LOS ANGELES, Calif.) – A University of Idaho football player was shot to death Sunday in California. 22-year-old wide-receiver Ken McRoyal of Carson, Calif., was shot during an argument at the Brewery Lofts, a living and working space for artists. Idaho coach Robb Akey called McRoyal’s death “devastating.” McRoyal caught six passes for 35 yards during eight games in the 2011 season. McRoyal was a native of New Orleans, but moved with his family to California after Hurricane Katrina.
