UCSD Sued for Transplanting Cancerous Kidney
Published at(SAN DIEGO) — A California man is suing the University of California-San Diego Medical Center after receiving a cancerous kidney during a transplant operation. Despite signing a document electing not to accept a kidney from a donor with health problems, Austin Scalf claims UCSD surgeon, Dr. Christopher Barry knowingly gave him a kidney with a cyst.
