(EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.) — Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation of his left knee. The four-time Pro Bowler tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in a game against the Washington Redskins late last season.
“That first game against Jacksonville I plan on being back,” Peterson said Wednesday. “I will be disappointed if I’m not.”
Peterson has rushed for 6,752 yards and 64 touchdowns during his five-year NFL career.
