Wake Agrees to Four-Year Contract Extension With Dolphins
Published at(NEW YORK) — Linebacker Cameron Wake agreed to four-year contract extension with the Miami Dolphins, the team announced on Twitter Sunday.
The deal is worth $49 million, $20 million guaranteed, a league source reported to ESPN’ s Adam Schefter.
The 30-year old Wake skipped the Dolphins’ voluntary workouts at the end of April because he wanted a new contract.
Wake has been in the NFL three seasons, all with Miami. In that time, he has compiled 122 tackles and 28 sacks while making the Pro-Bowl in 2010.
