Wild Sign Stoner To An Extension
Published at(ST. PAUL, Minn.) — The Minnesota Wild and defenseman Clayton Stoner agreed to a two-year contract extension Thursday worth $2.1 million. The deal will keep him in Minnesota through the 2013-14 season.
The 27-year-old Stoner played in 51 games this past season, leading all Wild defenseman in plus-minus rating.
Minnesota selected Stoner in the third round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
