(JEFFERSON COUNTY) – At least two wildfires were sparked by lightning in eastern Idaho Wednesday. BLM officials say a brush fire burned about five acres north of Highway 33 on the Jefferson/Madison county border. In Fremont County, lightning struck a power pole on the Egin-Hamer road about two miles west of St. Anthony. No structures were reportedly damaged in either fire.
