50 Cent Recovering from Serious Car Accident

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Rapper 50 Cent was involved in a major car accident when his bulletproof SUV was rear-ended by a Mack truck, the rapper’s website Thisis50.com reports.
Fiddy’s car was driving down the Long Island Expressway in Queens early Tuesday morning when the collision occurred, nearly flipping his SUV. According to the rapper’s website, police say the driver of 50’s truck lost control of the vehicle after being rear-ended.
A spokesperson for the rapper confirmed the accident to ABC News, saying, “Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine.”
The unidentified driver was also taken to the hospital, still there is no word on his condition.
