A Failed Mining Deal for Nelson Mandela’s Grandson

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(ORKNEY, South Africa) – Zondwa Mandela tried to make his mining company one of Africa’s largest competitors in the gold mining market according to The Wall Street Journal. Currently, the 28-year-old grandson of Nelson confronts fraud charges dealing with his failed mining company and frustrated workers.
Although the younger Mandela was raised by freedom fighters and politicians that helped to end apartheid in South Africa, Zondwa Mandela pursued a different career path in business.
