Azarenka, Kuznetsova Eliminate From French Open
Kenzo Tribouillard/AFP(PARIS) -- 15th-seeded Dominka Cibulkova of Slovakia knocked out top-seeded Victoria Azarenka in the fourth round of the French Open Sunday, 6-2, 7-6 (4).
The defending Australian Open champion fell behind early in the match, losing her composure in the second set when she slammed her racket to the ground twice. She was giving a warning by the chair umpire for racket abuse.
Also on the Women’s side, Italy’s Sara Errani took down 2009 winner Svetlana Kuznetsova in straight sets, 6-0, 7-5.
