Blackfoot Woman Killed in Crash
Published at(FT HALL, ID) — A Blackfoot woman has died after a crash on I-15 near Fort Hall Friday evening. Idaho State Police say an uncontrolled burn along the side of the freeway caused heavy smoke to drift into traffic. 93-year-old Maxine Cushman didn’t see the cars slowing down in front of her and slammed into a Ford pickup driven by a Heyburn man. Cushman was pronounced dead at the scene. Both the pickup’s driver and his passenger were uninjured. All three involved were wearing seat belts.
