Blake Lively Is Gucci’s New Leading Lady

Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Target(NEW YORK) — Blake Lively was recently named the face of Gucci’s newest fragrance Première, USA Today reports.
“I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance,” the actress said of her new role.
“In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era,” Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, says in a statement. “Blake’s unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way.”
The Gossip Girl star recently shot the video campaign for the fragrance with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn. The short film will premiere at the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 1.
