This will be the third team Moyer has been a part of this season already. He made 10 starts for the Colorado Rockies earlier this season and went 2-5 with a 5.70 ERA. The highlight of his time with the Rockies was when he became the oldest player in Major League Baseball history to win a game.

Despite the milestone, Moyer struggled afterwards and was eventually released by the team. He was picked up by the Baltimore Orioles, but never made it to the Majors with them. He went 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA while with Triple-A Norfolk. He was eventually granted his release from the team

Toronto will send him to Las Vegas for now to see if he can still contribute at the Major League level. Toronto has been ravaged by injuries to their pitching staff lately. Brandon Morrow, Kyle Drabek, and Drew Hutchinson are all on the disabled list.
