Brett Gardner to Miss Another 3-4 Weeks

Robert Rogers/MLB Photos via Getty Images(NEW YORK) — New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner will miss at least another three to four weeks according to the team with an injured elbow.
Gardner hasn’t played for the Yankees since April 17. He has attempted to comeback twice, but was shutdown both times.
The 28-year-old speedster went to see Dr. James Andrews and Dr. Timothy Kremchek. The doctors determined Gardner has an elbow muscle strain, joint inflammation and a bone bruise, according to the team. Dr. Kremchek administered Gardner with platelet-rich plasma and cortisone shots.
Gardner finished last season with a .345 OBP, 49 stolen bases and 87 runs scored.
