(ATLANTA) — The Atlanta Falcons and veteran safety Chris Hope agreed to contract terms Friday.
The 31-year-old Hope played his 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans. He has 20 career interceptions and made the Pro Bowl in 2008 while playing for the Titans. Hope also played on the Pittsburgh Steelers 2005 Super Bowl championship team.
Last season Hope played in 10 games making 25 tackles and grabbing one interception.
The Falcons released receiver Cody Pearcy to make room for Hope.
