Clowns to Perform in 4th of July Parade

(IDAHO FALLS) – A time-honored clown troupe will perform in the Idaho Falls Independence Day Parade after all.  After the Chamber of Commerce decided to enforce its ban on small motorized vehicles, Kathy Nave and her family weren’t sure what they’d do. The troupe had used golf carts to haul around candy and other supplies for 29 years, but this year they nearly gave up. With overwhelming community support, the clowns will be using motorized wheelchairs and scooters instead. Nave says it’s a simple way to make the event a little brighter.
