Court Prepares to Try Former Principal
Published at(BLACKFOOT, ID) — Former Snake River Jr. High Principal Christopher Cox will face a jury trial next month. Court officials say a plea agreement could be in the works for Cox. The 39-year-old, who is accused of having a physical relationship with a 14-year-old student, may be close to reaching a resolution with prosecutors. Cox faces up to 75 years in prison and $150,000 in fines. A jury trial is still scheduled for July 11.
