The score was tied at one 9:05 into the first period when Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador scored his fourth goal of the post season.

Devil’s goalie Martin Brodeur did the rest from there, finishing the night with 25 saves.

“It’s a matter of us now going into a tough environment in LA to try to ruin the party again,” Brodeur said.

The Devils are looking to become the first team since the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the Stanley Cup finals and win.

Game 6 is Monday in Los Angeles. The puck will drop at approximately 8PM ET.
