Distillery Humbled by Support For “Five Wives”

(OGDEN, Utah) – Ogden’s Own Distillery is expressing its gratitude for “overwhelming support” from Idaho residents over their controversially labeled “Five Wives” vodka. Last week, Idaho liquor regulators banned the drink because they believed its title was offensive to women and members of the LDS Church. Opponents to the ban, including many non-drinkers, contend that it violates First Amendment rights and that the state’s argument contradicts other similar products which are legally sold in Idaho.
