(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  — Law enforcement officials in eastern Idaho are warning registered sex offenders to stay away from Facebook.  Idaho law doesn’t prohibit sex offenders from using social networks, though Facebook’s terms of use say they aren’t allowed.  Officials with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office say they frequently check for sex offenders using Facebook, reporting those they find that use the social network.   A federal court ruling upheld Facebook’s “terms” earlier this week, though the ACLU is appealing the decision.
