First Lady Michelle Obama to Appear on ‘Live! with Kelly’

Jim Spellman/WireImage(NEW YORK) — First lady Michelle Obama is set to appear on ABC’s Live! with Kelly on Monday, June 18 to chat with host Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Bryant Gumbel. The first lady is promoting her new book American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America, which highlights recipes and suggests tips on how to start your own garden.
Iron Chef‘s Marc Forgione will also appear on Monday’s episode to take “LIVE’s White House Garden Challenge.” Forgione will have to create a healthy yet tasty dish on the spot using fresh herbs and vegetables brought by the first lady straight from the White House garden.
