Fox TV Will Stay in East Idaho

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —     Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI), a leader in
local media innovation, announced today that it has reached an agreement with Fox
Broadcasting Company to affiliate with the network over its KXPI-LP & KIDK.2 stations serving
the Idaho Falls-Pocatello, ID market.  FOX programming will move to Channel 34 and 36.2
beginning July 1, 2012.

“Fisher is excited to expand its partnership with FOX and to serve the viewers and advertisers of
Idaho Falls-Pocatello with premium programming such as American Idol and NFL football,” said

KXPI has been a My Network TV affiliate since December 2008 and will continue to air that
network’s prime time programming beginning weeknights at 10pm.

Fisher Communications also operates KIDK-TV, the CBS affiliate in Idaho Falls-Pocatello as
well as 12 other full power television stations, 7 low power television stations, and 4 radio
