"Happy Days" Star Erin Moran Living in Her Mother-in-Law’s Trailer
(LOS ANGELES) -- Happy Days star Erin Moran may be living in her mother-in-law’s trailer, but she has a good reason.
“Erin and her husband did in fact move in with her ailing mother-in-law over a year ago,” Moran’s publicist told ABC News. “They are helping take care of her, as any loving family would do.”
Moran’s rep would not comment on reports that the actress had been evicted from her California home, but TMZ obtained documents showing that Moran’s home had been foreclosed on in 2010 and she was served eviction papers later that year after refusing to leave.
But a big paycheck could be coming her way. On Tuesday, a Los Angeles judge ruled that a lawsuit brought by Moran and other Happy Days regulars against the show’s owner, CBS, can go to trial. Moran, Marion Ross, Anson Williams, Donny Most and Tom Bosley’s widow Patricia sued CBS last year claiming they are owed royalties from the use of their images in merchandise that includes shirts, scrapbooks, cards, games, lunch boxes, dolls, DVDs, magnets and slot machines. A trial is scheduled to begin July 17.
Moran’s rep also noted that the actress, 51, has an upcoming appearance on the reality series on Celebrity Ghost Stories and is “in talks with other TV and film projects.”
