Homeowner Tax Exemption to Decrease in 2012

(IDAHO FALLS) – The taxable value of Bonneville County homes will likely jump next year. Local News 8 reports that last year’s maximum home deduction was over $92,000, though next year’s will drop to around $83,000. Officials say the amount of money exempted has decreased from $100,000 downward over the past several years.
