Idaho Falls Man Named “Best Warrior”

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls man has won the Army National Guard’s “Best Warrior” award for the northwest United States. Michael Bautista spent months training before winning the competition, and he’ll now head to Fort Benning, Georgia for the national contest. In addition, Bautista’s employer, Bechtel Marine Propulsion at the INL, was honored for being supportive of all their employees during military service. Bechtel still paid Bautista and other soldiers while they were deployed in Iraq last year.
