Idaho National Guard Member Receives Distinct Promotion

(BLACKFOOT) – An officer in the Idaho National Guard has recently received a unique promotion. KIDK reports that First Lieutenant Annie Gardner of Blackfoot was named as the first female company commander of Gulf Company in the 145th Brigade Support Battalion. Gardner will oversee maintenance and distribute supplies to field artillery units. The mother of five says her years of hard work are paying off, and she plans to continue to provide quality training to her fellow soldiers.
