(NEW YORK) — Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jason Babin had flirted with the idea of running with the bulls in Spain this summer, but after being scrutinized by teammates and NFL observers, Babin shot down the idea.
“I’m not sure what you guys are talking about,” Babin said of the situation to the Wilmington News Journal on Saturday. “I’m a little confused. I’m not a big basketball fan, but growing up I was a Bulls fan. I’m confused. I have a lot of bulls on my farm in Texas.”
The Eagles must be happy as well that their defensive end won’t be running with the bulls, Babin is owed $6 million in 2012. Babin said that he doesn’t even have a passport that would allow him to travel to Spain in the first place.
