Matt Sandusky, now 33, claims that the sexual abuse went on from the time he was 8 years old until he was 15.

According to a report broadcast Tuesday on NBC’s Today, Matt Sandusky sat down for a half-hour taped interview with investigators two weeks ago to graphically describe how his adopted father allegedly molested him in the shower and while in bed, which mostly involved Jerry Sandusky touching his genitals.

When asked if the abuse also involved oral or anal sex, Matt Sandusky said he couldn’t recall if that happened.

Originally, Matt Sandusky told a grand jury that he was not a sex abuse victim and stood by his adopted father until hearing testimony from eight of his victims during the trial that apparently matched his experiences.

Prosecutors were only going to put Matt Sandusky on the stand as a rebuttal witness if Jerry Sandusky testified in his own defense.

Jerry Sandusky was convicted on 45 of the 48 charges against him and faces life in prison when he’s sentenced in September.  Asked about Matt Sandusky’s accusations, Jerry Sandusky’s defense attorney Karl Rominger claimed his client was “very upset” when he learned that Matt talked to investigators during the trial.  It was for that reason Jerry Sandusky did not testify, Rominger said.
