Moose Calf Has Been Rescued

(POCATELLO, ID)  –  A moose calf is lucky to be alive thanks to the quick thinking of a local outdoors-man and the cooperation of Fish and Game officials.   The calf was found stuck in Mercer Creek and had been abandoned by its mother.  Being only two weeks old and severely dehydrated, the Pocatello Zoo is keeping an eye on the little guy until he can be transferred to Washington State for further treatment.
