Olympics Sports Artist LeRoy Neiman Dead at 91
Published at(NEW YORK) – LeRoy Neiman, an American artist famous for his vibrant and kaleidoscope-colored portraits of athletes during the Olympics and Super Bowl games, died on Wednesday in New York City at the age of 91, according to The New York Times. The report doesn’t mention a cause of death.
He also painted for Playboy, but he is especially remembered for his paintings of Muhammad Ali and Joe Namath.
