Out of Control Fire in Western Wyoming

(LINCOLN COUNTY, WY) – A fire in western Wyoming has now spread to more than 12,000 acres. The Fontenelle Fire in Lincoln and Sublette Counties has virtually closed off the LaBarge area, and nearly sixty firefighters have been working around the clock to keep the fire controlled, though they’re falling behind. Officials say they may call for more regional or national resources to better manage operations. Fire danger remains high for western Wyoming and most of eastern Idaho.
